St Patrick’s Day celebrations at the three lovely Andrew’s Care Homes...The Argyle Residential Home, Welby Croft Residential Home, and Southfield Residential Home.
We talked about the differences between the Irish Shamrock ☘️ and the Four Leaf Clover 🍀 and we sang “Danny Boy”
We also had springtime songs and hymns including “All Things Bright and Beautiful”, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”, “You Make me Feel so Young”, and “Spring, spring spring!” from the 1954 musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
One lovely lady asked if she could keep her word card because she loved the little pictures! ☀️ Others said that the hymns reminded them of their school days, or singing in their church choir!
