This week I had the pleasure of visiting the three care homes in the Andrews Care group. First stop was Southfield in Poynton, followed by Welby Croft in Chapel-en-le-Frith, and The Argyle in Buxton. We got to reminiscing about trips to the seaside with "Summer Holiday" by Cliff Richard, and "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. Did you know...an ice cream van is only allowed to chime for 12 seconds every 3 minutes. The most popular ice cream van song is "O Sole Mio", which the residents enjoyed hearing in both Italian and English. Thank you for having me Andrews Care group! X
