Halle Youth Ensembles Celebration Concert 2026

(After neglecting my blog for some time!) It is fitting that my first post should be of the magnificent Halle Children's Choir who, last week, performed in the Halle Youth Ensembles Celebration Concert 2026!

They performed four songs from the moving and exciting cantata "Ocean World" (Peter Rose and Anne Conlon), complete with choreography and movement from the incredibly talented Sarah Day-Smith and accompanied by the amazing Ben Attfield on piano. As always, lead by our incredible Musical Director Shirley Court.

The concert also featured the wonderful Halle Youth Orchestra (Euan Shields), Halle Youth Training Choir (Matt Roughley), and Halle Youth Choir (Stuart Overington). A true showcase of the Halle Youth Ensembles talent!

Well done HCC for a fantastic performance!
