Buxton Advertiser double page spread!

I am delighted to be featured in this week’s issue of the Buxton Advertiser!

A lovely chap called Ed interviewed me about all things musical, my journey so far, and my upcoming Dementia-Friendly Coffee Concert…

The informal, café-style concert will be held at the Buxton Methodist Church in the Main Hall on Thursday 3rd November at 11am.

The concert is designed for people with dementia and their carers or loved ones to enjoy some live singing in a supportive, friendly atmosphere with tea, coffee, and homemade cakes (of course!) The event is entirely free with donations gracefully received towards the running of the event.

I will be singing some much loved tunes from Vera Lynn, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, ABBA, The Sound of Music, Cliff Richard, and many more. There will be something for everyone, including one or two traditional hymns.

I am honoured to have a double page spread… I was not expecting it at all! Thank you so much Ed and all the team at the Buxton Advertiser.
